What an exciting couple of months it has been .. with a day of meditation with the Evolve Festival, a brilliant evening with visiting meditation instructor Sarah McLean, and I have been working hard on my first meditation CD (almost finished) .. and lots more projects in the 'pipeline' .. One very exciting piece of news I can share .. is a new venue for meditation classes, and new friends for the 'tribe' ..

A Taste of Meditation
Monday 9 May (7-8.30pm) or Wednesday 18 May (10-11.30am) An introduction to meditation .. an ancient wellbeing practice and what we consider a 'life skill'. Understand stress and how it impacts your body and mind, the benefits of meditation, learn a shorter 'spot' meditation and indulge in a longer guided meditation .. with some time to answer your questions.

Wednesday daytime 1 June-6 July (10-11.30am) A six week introduction to the 'art and science' of meditation. We shall introduce a range of meditation techniques so that you can find the practice most suitable for you. Explore the core principles of meditation (the how and why), obstacles and antidotes, how to measure your progress and establishing a daily meditation practice. Instruction booklet provided.

An excellent beginners program introducing the 'art and science of meditation'. Run over five weeks this is a wonderful opportunity to explore, discuss and de-mystify this ancient life skill : meditation.
Explore a range of different meditation techniques in a supportive, engaging and fun class. Our teaching style is relaxed and practical .. a straightforward approach that aims to make meditation accessible and enjoyable.
We shall explore :
* core concepts that apply to all meditation
* the 'how' and 'why'
* stress and how to better manage
* a variety of different technques .. some short 'spot' meditations and longer practices
* trouble-shoot common hurdles
* measuring progress
* starting a daily meditation practice.
A five week Program gives us the opportunity to learn, practice and discuss ~ and there is a workbook to take home to support your home practice. The Exploring Meditation Program is $150 (but only $135 each if you bring a friend).

Daytime Meditation Series
Wednesday mornings 10am-11.30am
Classes focus on a particular meditation 'theme' over two weeks and include instruction, practice and discussion. We shall explore our 'theme' from 10am to 11am, then spend a half hour in practice/stillness finishing at 11.30am. There are currently six weeks scheduled, each week is designed to build on our general understanding and experience of meditation. Themes will change across the year.
Let's Meditate : looking at the 'nuts & bolts' of meditation, how to get started, some common hurdles and FAQ, and we explore some simple techniques that focus on relaxing the body in order to calm the mind. 14 & 21 Aprilor call 0417 403 714
