"We can make our minds so like still water
that beings gather about us to see their own images
and so live for a moment with a clearer,
perhaps even a fiercer life
because of our silence"
~ William Butler Yeats
This quote reminds us that being centered in ourselves, just living in present moment awareness, can make us a reflecting pool for others (and of course, ourselves).
Being present in silence can often bring us great realizations .. being quiet in our heart and mind (and being silent in the presence of others) allows us to deeply attune to the subtle vibrational energy around and within us .. and we realise that a more powerful communication is often taking place.
Rather than straining to quiet the mind in meditation .. simply relax into the quiet that contains the mind
