WONDERED ABOUT MEDITATION?
Wed. 28th May : 6.30-8.30pm
Black Rock ($30)
An introduction to meditation .. looking at the key principles and answering a few frequently asked questions. We shall learn some Meditative Exercises (for immediate stress relief) and relax with a more traditional guided Body and Breath Awareness practice. An excellent 'taste' of what meditation is all about with some take home practical techniques to start bringing meditation into your life now!
EXPLORING MEDITATION (4 week course)
Wednesday evenings (Black Rock) 6.30-8.30pm
(4 week course is $175 or $160 each if booked with a friend)
WINTER COURSE : June 11th - July 2nd or
LATE WINTER COURSE : July 9th - 30th
Research clearly shows that learning to calm ourselves and manage our stress positively influences our inner biochemistry .. improving physical and emotional health, providing more restful sleep, igniting our creativity and intuition, and giving us greater ‘life’ energy as well as increasing our ability to cultivate positive emotions.

The Exploring Meditation course has been designed for beginners or those seeking to reconnect with their practice. Classes run for either four or six weeks (depending on the time of year) so we have a chance to explore a range of meditation techniques, the ‘how’ and the ‘why’, experience guided meditations and some silent practices, and clear away any questions. We also provide handouts each week, and Om-work (ie. homework) to keep you inspired and so that you can build your own Meditation Handbook.
Meditation is an amazingly effective life skill that enhances our sense of well being and provides us with practical techniques to manage stress, release busy-ness and find balance .. and it is quite simple to learn how to meditate.
We teach a straightforward, practical and non-religious approach to meditation ~ and meeting regularly provides us with an opportunity to get ‘into the flow’ of meditation and gain an insight to the benefits found in a regular meditation practice.
