Sunday Pause 22 June 2014

Welcome to the Sunday Pause .. join me as I wander through some of the inspiring, creative and simply funny stuff that I saw online this week!

Mother Nature always inspires me.  And when I seriously need to ground myself and get away from the 'madness' I try to take a walk .. or watch something beautiful like this .. inspiring .. 

So .. YES .. I am very late with my Sunday Pause .. it's been a tough week and Friday (my writing day) was just a yuk day .. and I found myself totally distracted and unable/uninspired to go anywhere near my computer.  Life has a way to making us stop .. whether we want to or not.

.. that's life!

And I am sure you can relate.

Looking back now on the last week .. I do remember having a good laugh at this one (and sneaking a look at a few pertaining to friends) ..  I'm a Gemini

And I did do a bit of networking .. finally having a chance to head out 'in heels' to attend a fantastic night of networking and socialising with the Business in Heels event. Was a great night!  Not like the old corporate days of networking .. and I WON A DOOR PRIZE (more on that later).  

And I signed up super fast for the amazing Gabby Bernstein event which is coming to Australia early January 2015 (for the first time!).. and if your quick you might still be able to sign up for their VIP notification list - get in fast because I had to try twice as the rush seemed to stall their server!

This also caught my eye .. Sex as Meditation from Ashley Turner who this year ran the very successful Meditation 101 series (you can buy some of the downloads via the link or keep an eye out for the next series).  So, 'sex as meditation' .. well, I am not really sure I'd call it meditation, maybe more a potential mindfulness practice.  

I am currently planning a weekend away .. not far but definitely near the ocean with some girlfriends.  This sounded wonderful .. local, Mornington Peninsula (the MP Experience) and with a list of great things to do in the area.

And I have been working on my DIY Sacred Space E-Book .. and loved these .. thinking I have one really large white wall that would be p-e-r-f-e-c-t

And also these .. since I do love the work with the chakra system

OH .. and I totally love these Oola decals .. am even thinking I might get some into the Quiet Mind Meditation Shop .. tell me what you think

Other things that I bookmarked to share this week included : a list of reasons why I drink warm water with lemon every morning .. and the article I sent to my teenager because she is always complaining that her iPhone battery life is impossible.

And because I am kind of obsessive about collecting quotes .. here is my Quote of the Week .. which I posted on my Instagram account and Facebook page .. both of which received a HUGE response .. so it obviously resonated with you guys too ..
