All you can eat .. meditation

The time is almost here .. a full day .. all the meditation you could possibly want to eat!

The third annual Australian Meditation Conference happens in Melbourne on Saturday 31st July at RMIT's Storey Hall RMIT’s Storey Hall .. and brings together some of Australia's leading meditation teachers, researchers and performing artists in the field of contemplative/intuitive music.

An opportunity to catch up with one of my favourite meditation bloggers Clarke Scott .. you will have met him here recently when he unveiled the Australian Institute for Consciousness Studies .. a new Tasmanian retreat centre and a place for the ‘meeting of minds’. Clarke is a Buddhist monk ordained in the Tibetan tradition and his conference talk will present current research detailing the efficacy of meditation as both a diagnostic and therapeutic tool.

And one of my favourite meditation authors .. David Mitchie .. in my bookcase sits Buddhism for Busy People and Hurry Up and Meditate AND soon another (yet to be released Enlightenment to Go). David's talk is titled 'What Buddhism Brings To The Meditation Party' a review of how meditation can bring 'astonishing discoveries about the nature of mind and our innate capacity for enlightenment'.

Find out about this smorgasbord of meditation at Meditation Events .. who stage meditation-related events supporting the greater health and wellbeing of the Melbourne community and bringing together like-minded people.
