"When you live your life with an appreciation of coincidences and their meanings, you connect with the underlying field of infinite possibilities." Deepak Chopra
Today as I was racing around .. getting all the 'things' done that are often an unchangeable part of our morning routine .. I flew past BLOSSOM! A whole street of pink blossom trees coming to bloom. I so wasn't expecting blossom yet ... isn't it too early? what is going on? .. sure we have had some wonderful sunny, blue sky days .. but blossom?
Equally surprising these past few weeks has been the ground swell of interest in meditation around my world! This is wonderful and quite exciting (being that I believe meditation to be a life skill that everyone should embrace) .. but I do wonder why now? I have had more people visit my blog (thank you for coming past), more than the usual numbers of emails and calls, and a significant increase in class numbers .. for no apparent reason.
Winter is often a time to naturally hibernate and reflect .. and the winter solstice is a time traditionally associated with reflection and opening to what we may wish to change or do in our lives .. I am not sure why the blossom tree is blossoming, or why suddenly there is this mini trend in my community to find out more about meditation .. but I just love that both are happening and that I have noticed.
As Deepak comments above ... maybe I am just experiencing a connection to an underlying field of infinite possibilities.
